CORDIS

CORDIS, the Community Research & Development Information Service, is the official source of information on the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7) calls for proposals in the form of an interactive web facility that links together researchers, policymakers, managers and key players in the field of research.

With a budget of nearly € 54 billion over the next seven years (2007-2013), FP7 responds to the increased need for coordinated and focused research to support the knowledge-based economy in Europe.

CORDIS, a free online service managed by the Publications Office, offers a unique FP7 service designed to:

  • Understand the benefits of FP7 and to ensure equal access to information (objectives, budget, roadmap etc) for all stakeholders, whether they are based in the EU Member States or the Associated States, or in other countries that are entitled to project participation. CORDIS will answer your questions on who, when and how to participate in FP7.

  • Find calls for proposals and submit your proposal online with the Electronic Proposal Submission System (EPSS)

  • Find project partners that have the complementary expertise, profile or technology, which you might be seeking.

  • Receive daily news and announcements of forthcoming events by e-mail alert service and subscribe to our print magazine CORDIS Focus.

  • Promote your activities through a range of online forums and tools including the submission of press releases with the service CORDIS Wire

Newcomers to CORDIS service can read the CORDIS Guidance which provides basic insights into the aims and content of CORDIS and some of the many possible uses that may be made of the service.
