Research Objectives
MissionThe Centre for Transport and Logistics (CTL) aims to act as a scientific co-ordinator, with an interdisciplinary approach, in activities of research and development, education and information in the field of transport and logistics, with a focus on the implications of innovation in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT).CTL aims to promote the co-operation between academic world, firms and public institutions through joint activities of research, development and education and by networking with other public and private excellence centres in Italy and Europe. CTL aims to promote a close co-operation in knowledge and technology transfer with firms interested in transport and logistics services in order to achieve the development and diffusion of innovation.CTL aims to co-operate with both private sector (industry and services) and the public sector (administrations) in order to develop innovative technological and organisational solutions which can improve the quality and efficiency of the infrastructures for transport and logistics.CTL aims to support under-graduate and graduate education programmes as well as permanent education activities and to promote conferences and seminars, and to meet the specific education demands of transport and logistics firms and public administrations.CTL aims to develop and implement an electronic hub which can act as a permanent knowledge centre, according to the objectives of the "European research space", and can promote the>>>
