National and international background
In the Italian language and culture the plurality of terms employed in order to define or to deny (laying at other professions the competences in concern) the educational/training professions represents a certain weak point for their recognition and affirmation, which can be overreached only by constructing a professional specificity scientifically founded as well as socially and politically shared. The unitary and qualifying expression adopted in the research, “educational/training professions”, around which individuate the scientific foundation and the specificities of these activities, arises from the belief that the “personal formative process” development is the common denominator and the aim of the professions in concern. The broad-spectrum of the educational professions action field represents a further reason for their differentiation, generating the need of a broad fan of competencies and requiring the placement of the an in the framework of the core competencies shared by the whole professional chain. Together with a formative problem there is a theoretical problem. As consequence of the progressive articulation of human and social sciences, the educational ones have become an encyclopaedia of disciplinary knowledge more and more broad. This situation generates a deep and microscopic disassembling of educational processes to the extent of the loss of their unitary nature. The research and the studies concerning the new professional figures in the educational and >>>
