Programma:Il cronoprogramma di ricerca intende sviluppare, nell’arco dei 24 mesi, le interfacce di telecontiguità e collaudarle presso la rete delle unità operative partecipanti al progetto.
• La prima fase
(0-6° mese) prevede una attività di ricerca finalizzata alla individuazione delle componenti tecnologiche (hardware, software, apparati di comunicazione, supporti audio/video per il displayng).
(7°-12° mese) si prevede la realizzazione del prototipo composto dal set completo di finestra e tavolo di telecontiguità per la collaborazione a distanza in tempo reale. Test e collaudo del prototipo presso il laboratorio e-learning dell’Università del Molise.
• La seconda fase
(13°-24° mese) prevede su indicazione dell’Unità operativa del Molise, la dotazione delle unità operative di Torino, Pescara e Ancona e Roma con analoghi terminali di telecontiguità per il loro collaudo in multisessioni didattiche sincrone attraverso la rete GARR.
Su questa base si intende giungere alla certificazione di un sistema di telecontiguità in scala 1:1 che offra sia una superficie verticale (window) di dialogo e confronto naturale sia un piano orizzontale (desk) per condividere e collaborare su oggetti e documenti utili al colloquio di scambio docente/studenti per la revisione progettuale.
E’ prevista la prototipazione di due terminali gemelli:
I due terminali sono provvisti di finestra di dialogo 240 cm x 180 cm e ripiano interattivo antistante da 240 cm.x 180 cm.
• augmented window :
schermo olografico 120” – 1 videoproiettore da almeno 3000 lumen – Webcam IP
• augmented desk :
piano di polimetacrilato nero (B&W) retroproiettabile – specchio ad alta riflettenza - due videoproiettori 2500 lumen – Webcam IP
• 2 telai regolabili di sostegno in ferro , cablaggi, illuminazione accessoria:
Questi prototipi rimarranno a disposizione dell’Ateneo e di tutte quelle facoltà che vorranno sperimentarle per esperienze di didattica, di ricerca o servizi interattivi a distanza.
