A list of authors is assigned to several Italian and European redactions: for each author are compiled some bibliographic cards containing: a general bibliography concerning the author, including the indication of the specialized reference books, dictionaries and studies dedicated to him; the list of works attributed to him, including the works of uncertain authenticity, with the eventual reference to other authors to whom the work is attributed.In particular are examined the authors which are closely related to the philosophic, theological and scientific field.
For each work is signalled: 1) the repertory/repertories in which the work is mentioned; 2) its edition/editions; 3) the manuscript/manuscripts from which the work is handed on, in the case that the work is not edited or partially edited; 4) specific studies on it. The collected material is unified, both in form and contents, according to the general rules provided for the project, and prepared for the entry in a proper data-base for "Compendium Auctorum Latinorum Medii Aevi" (CALMA), that is continually updated. Finally, the material is prepared for the setting of the issues (layout, printing and correction of proofs).
